망양정

바다 반대편 한라산쪽 모습입니다. 원반모양 지붕의 제주국립박물관과 왼쪽 아래 빨간 지붕의 우당도선관이 보입니다.

사라봉공원 표지석

  시가지 중심에서 2Km쯤 떨어진 해안에 자리잡고 있는 사라봉의 사봉낙조는 성산일출과 함께 영주십경의 하나이다.
  그 정상에 있는 팔각정에서 약진하는 제주시가 한눈에 내려다 보이고 멀리 펼쳐진 검푸른 바다와 수평선은 매우 아름다우며 비록 해발 148m에 불과한 봉우리지만 한번 올라 낙조를 응시해 보면 그 어느곳에서 찾아볼 수 없는 황홀한 절경과 바다로 떨어지는 태양의 신비로운 장관을 볼 수가 있다.

GUIDE TO HILL

  This hill is located over looking the sea is two kilo meters from the center of Jeju City. There is on octagon house on the top of the hill from where you can see Jeju City advancing in all directory and you can find very beautiful blue waves stretching into the north.
  Though the height of SARAHILL is only one hundred and forty eight meters high. Yet you have a clear view of the sun asit sinks into the sea. This is like the same view you can see of the sun rise from SUNG SAN.
  It can be included amongst the ten sights of Jeju that must be visited.
